Ms. AMALAYER is now gaining an unexpected popularity but popularity in a not so good way.

Being the STAR of a 1 min video of a “pa-conyo girl” shouting and being rude to a Lady Guard is not something to be proud of or something that we don’t want to be caught with a video.

Honestly at first I was kinda laughing and was thinking “Wow IBA ATTITUDE ni ATE”

The “AMALAYER” thing and the “pa-conyo” style that the “ate” did was sure funny, but when people started to bash her, make fun of her in twitter and in FB was something that bothered me…

Now I started to look at it deeply…

What if the girl in the video,

1. is your friend? Will you tweet a funny joke about Ms. AMALAYER?

2. is your sister or your cousin or your daughter? Will you post something

in Facebook that bashes on how she is gramatically incorrect?

3. is YOU?…
Late ka na pag-pasok sa school or Work tpos pinahiya ka pa ng isang Lady Guard in front of many people, then sa sobrang pagka-badtrip mo eh pinahiya mo din si Lady Guard lumaban ka, yun nga lang kinuhanan ka ng video at ngayon hiyang-hiya ka sa sarili mo dahil pinag-pipiyestahan ka ng sambayanan… This may not be the real story behind Ms. AMALAYER pero what if ganyan nga?

It may sound that I am defending Ms. Amalayer, but actually I am not because I agree that what she did was wrong, was kinda funny, but this post is to remind everyone (including myself) that “hey aren’t we like her in some point of our lives? Except that we weren’t caught in a video? It is easy to say that if we were Ms. AMALAYER we would not do the same thing, but hey my friend you’ll never know!”

We all have weaknesses and can have some bad moments so….

We should be careful on how to treat and judge others.

Matthew 7:1-5 says:

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

A 1 min video can’t tell the whole story..

A 1 min video can’t tell so much about her character..

John 8:1-7

“But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

This blog post is not meant to “condemn” people who posted bad tweets and status messages in FB about Ms. AMALAYER but just a reminder that

We should be more UNDERSTANDING and RESPONSIBLE on what we say against our neighbour.

That We should not JUDGE by what we see but we should think of the story more deeply with an OPEN HEART and MIND.

That We should not just go with the flow and be in the loop but rather be CAREFUL and CRITICAL on what the real issue is.

Jesus said that the greatest commandment is “Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and strength” and second is “Love your NEIGHBOR as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39)

I think YES.

God bless!🙂

It’s ok Joyce! We all commit mistakes, but what’s important is that we learn from this mistakes and vows to be more careful the next time.🙂

actaually she had the right to steam off, but the catch was the ” pa conyo effect” that went bad… it just dont fit her bisaya accent…the lesson here is dont pretend…conyos dont yell in public.. what they do is just the stand in the corner and pull out ther cps and say ” okey ill call my lawyer” ganun.

yeah it is very true.but bragging how educated she was is not right already.Your education does not guarantee of a good values….people also is returning the favor of what she did…the lady guard wont ask and interrupt her if she had done nothing wrong!!!:)

    • Ace! says:

Yep Ate Amalayer did things that were not right (bragging, shouting etc.) but I think it “takes two to tango”. Meaning
Ate Lady guard also did things that were not right? So for us to judge Ate Amalayer or Ate Lady guard is something that we should not do.
Returning the favor of what she did, is something that is not our business. “Revenge is mine says the Lord” -Romans 12:19.
So we should leave it up to them.🙂

      Thanks for your comment!🙂

      • Adam says:

and the revenge already took effect, Now she is a laughing stock in the internet and the media. Now she will think twice the burst like that in public

Yep you’re right we should responsible for our action, recorder or not so with that we should also be responsible on what we say against/for her.
Katangahan?kayabangan? well, we can’t judge right away with that. Educated? Well I think it can’t be measured in just one minute? The best that we can do
is just relax and think of it more deeply.🙂

Thanks for your comments bro! Appreciated!🙂

      God bless!

      • Elle says:

Honestly, I think “she” should have just relaxed and thought about it more deeply. What is going on right now… she actually had it coming… I am not saying that it’s right to bash her with all the “judgement” as what you would call it, but… she should have thought better — no judgement here…. just an opinion laid out in a calm manner…. WHICH SHE SHOULD HAVE done…

correct! remember, karma is a bitch. paula salvosa acted like a mafia boss towards the ladyguard. now the whole world is ganging up on her. this is what she deserves.

  6. Veronica says:

People judge you by what you do…how else do you judge someone? If someone steals something from you, you call him a thief. It goes without saying na maledukada siya dahil nag eeskandalo siya. A well mannered person will never, ever do such a thing kahit na hinablot hablot pa siya dun because she would know that the proper thing to do is to report the guard to her supervisor.

I am a mom of two girls and I will never let my daughters behave like that in public. I worked hard to send them to one of the best schools so that they will grow up well mannered. If any of my daughters behave like that in public, I will be so humiliated I will not know what to do. You youngsters should know that whatever you do, is a reflection of how your parents raised you. So always make sure that you make your parents proud of you!

    • Ace! says:

      Hi Ma’am Veronica,

Yes you’re correct we are judged by what we do but sometimes what we do is not what we want to do? Sometimes or most of the time
we do things because of situations or because of our emotions. A 1 min video can’t be the sole basis of judgement and we can’t say
that Ate AMALAYER is not well-mannered maybe she is but at that time she wasn’t able to be well-mannered because again situations or
emotions that have gotten over her.

We all have weaknesses. Even the brightest ones who came from the best schools and were raised by great parents are not excused to having weaknesses,
so we really can’t judge anyone for just a small wrong that they did? Mary Magdalene was a prostitute, Peter denied Jesus, David was an adulterer, Dolphy
had many kids to different wives and the list goes on.. What I am saying is that we should not judge nor “bash” anyone right away, we should be INTELLIGENT and WELL-MANNERED
in thinking of the situation because that’s what GOD did. He didn’t judge mary, peter or david. He gave them a chance. Dolphy wasn’t judged by his mistakes in love but he
      was looked by others deeply.

Thanks for your opinions Ma’am and God bless to you and your family especially to your two girls.

    • flor matt says:

I agree with you veronica, our children is our reflection, so whatever they do, we parents are also judge, its not good to judge people but this is it…this is our society, so we must be careful of our acts especially in public places where all eyes would be on you if you do things like “amalayer’ did…and as i see from this video, i think she enjoy being the center of attraction because of her acts and loud voice, she just miscalculated the would be effect of it and ung cyberbullying na sinasabi nya, nagkataon lang un, dahil talaga naman pinakita nya kagaspangan ng paguugali nya.

  7. myrrhine says:

The question is, bakit nya ginawa yun? at yung pagvivideo ay ginawa ng ngvideo dahil nakikisimpatiya siya sa guard. Kung late na siya hindi na nya dapat pinagaksayahan ng panahon si ate guard.

  8. Hmmm... says:

I think no one really knows what happened and those reactions were based on a video. Hence, these reactions are floating from everywhere.

But, I personally think that if people just stood by and accepted and didn’t say something about the matter, (some maybe true, some not), people in general and people like “amalayer” would think that they can just get away with these things. I think it takes a bit of hurtful (because they’re truthful) words to get people’s attention and realization.

Nowadays, It is difficult to put a fine line between reacting/expressing your opinion and judging. So People should be more aware of those parameters.People shouldn’t judge but neither should they condone.

Shall it be that their opinions and comments can also be berating, we as well have no right to be righteous. It’s their right.

    Just saying.

  10. majic says:

i agree with you ace…. baka talagang may pinagdadaanan si ate AMALAYER but still it is not enough ground para ipahiya ang isang tao… with her statement na educated sya, she is leaving an impression than the lady guard has lower educational attainment compared to ate amalayer. kapag binato ka ng bato batuhin mo ng tinapay.. pag may nanakit sa iyo there are other ways to return the favor like praying to GOD na sana mapatawad si ate lady guard sa ginawa nya….. its not right to humiliate some one because of some misunderstanding… a real educated person thinks not twice, not trice but a million times before we make an intelligent action…. sa actuation nya bilang edukadong tao ibinaba nya ang sarili nya sa isang polubing hindi pinagbigyan sa pamamalimos… i have nothing against with ate AMALAYER… my concern and what i am against of is that her actuation… hindi na maiaalis sa kanya na didikit sa balat nya ang kahihiyan ni AMALAYER that is the consequences of her actions… but still we need to understand people around us no matter what the situations are and be intelligent, well mannered and eduacted in every action that we made

    • Ace! says:

Yep ate AMALAYER is completely wrong on what she did but again that’s not enough to judge her, to bash her
or even condemn her but this should not be condoned either but there are proper timing and actions on things.

You’re right being intelligent, well mannered is the best that we can do.🙂

    • Ace! says:

Well, yep the consequence of Ate Amalayer’s action is her “popularity” but we should not gang up on her just like
that but understand deeply the situation for both ate guard and ate amalayer.

And yes! Have I done any good in the world today?

Kung kapatid ko yan, pinagsabihan at pinagtawanan ko yan. Napanuod mo ba ung comment niya na binalita sa 24 oras? It doesnt show humility and regret. Sinisisi pa niya mga netizens at yung ladyguard. We dont need to see the whole picture. The point is “NEVER BRAG ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION IF YOU DONT HAVE A CHARACTER TO BACK IT OFF”. Pa-englisg english pa, mali-mali naman accent. Let this be a lesson to everyone.

  16. jaoromero says:

nakakatawa ang argument ng iba dito.

“eh hindi eh. mali sya. kaya may karapatan kaming kutyain sya. dahil mali sya.”

hahaha. let me get this straight. binabatikos nyo si amalayer dahil “kinutya nya yung guard.”

and yet ang ginagawa ninyo ay pangungutya on a much higher level.

it seems to me that those who insist on teaching amalayer “a lesson” are themselves in need of a lesson.

    To Mr. Author,

I enjoyed reading your post but the replies are more enjoyable, sorry. :p

I woke up today with about 30 replies to read from this blog (I mistakenly clicked on the notify me of follow-up comments box) and it really made my day. Most of the people who have replied on this blog, unbeknownst to them, are doing the exact same thing they are accusing Ms. Amalayer of doing. Hypocrisy at its finest.

  24. Johnny says:

Amalayer girl has a really BAD attitude. Did you see her latest ABS CBN interview transcript where she was blaming the lady guard for the entire thing! You thought you could sympathize with Amalayer but then here she comes opening her mouth and doing more damage.
As for the original poster asking us to not be quick to judge, sorry but the reality is Amalayer is beyond help. She does not even accept her mistakes. She didn’t learn anything from the incident. Even if the video was 5 or 20 minutes long, we can judge her by the way her demeanor, attitude and manner of speaking is. The thing is, she allegedly made a mistake of not putting her bag on the x-ray machine. Instead of apologizing to the guard who caught her, she flies in to a rage?! I don’t care but I’m judging her and I think she has a rotten attitude. Even if we say we make mistakes, this was not a mistake, it was a DISPLAY of attitude. So until AMalayer shows humility and accepts her mistakes, the world will always be hard on her.

iba ang gustong i project na image ni amalayer…….nakapamewang habang nagtatatalak. paulit ulit na narinig ang salitang sorry from the lady guard but still. amalayaer shows no sign of restraint . she even boast of her being educated which is irrelevant. and her voice is 5 times louder than those who are around. the lady guard, still working and trying her best to secure the safety of the riding public…..even untill now. kung masy kasalanan siya, dapat ay tinangal na siya pero hindi!!!! @AMALAYER o sino mang dumidepensa sa kanya………kung sasakay kayo sa mrt o lrt ay sumunod kayo sa security check .

jaoromeroi think there is nothing wrong in every statement at this blog because everything is opinionated and there is no wrong opinion, it will all depends on how people interpret the statements…. were are amalayer ourselves and at the same time we are the lady guard…. we sometimes wants to be sympathized on and we wanted to be heard…. we have our way of expressing our selves in many ways and that is the rights that we have in this democratic country but every rule has its exemption and every freedom has its limits…. we have to accept that we are wrong sometimes… this is not the fault of any blogger or even the person who published the one min video clips of amalayer it this article will never start if not of the actuation of miss amalayer. amalayer is not also at fault of this but on how she reacted and put herself on scandal and i am very thankful of ace to start this blog for every body to site their opinions
